British police are investigating whether there is a Canadian link to four men arrested in London on suspicion of committing terrorist acts, according to a report.
The BBC reported Wednesday that police were trying to establish whether any of the men provided support for an alleged al-Qaeda cell in Canada.
An RCMP spokesperson said they were unaware of the arrests.
The four men, all in their 20s, were being held at a central London police station. They were nabbed in a series of raids Monday and Tuesday.

The men are all British citizens and were arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under the country's Terrorism Act.
They can be held for 14 days, after which they have to be charged or released.
Police said the arrests were not linked to last July's attacks but are connected to the arrest of a 21-year-old man at Manchester airport in early June.
He was later charged, along with a 16-year-old, with conspiracy to murder.
