Brent Jessop \|\| December 18, 2005 Creating fake terrorists is a very important part of the "War on Terror". It has about the same effect on the public as a state terror attack without the same risk. The technique that was used this week in Miami airport was very similar to what happened in London. Shoot and kill an innocent foreigner and hype it as a terrorist attack being stopped. The innocent man - Rigoberto Alpizar - that was shot and killed in Miami was said to be repeating "I have a bomb" by the air marshals before reaching into his bag while leaving the plane and subsequently being shot. Why would someone with a bomb wait until he was leaving the plane to use it? None of the passengers on the plane heard him say "I have a bomb". Alpizar was mentally ill and had not taken his medication, his wife was saying that "my husband was sick" repeatedly, and that he was bipolar and did not have his medication, according to the passengers. Didn't the air marshals hear that? Alpizar was having a panic attack not a terrorist attack. The air marshals also put guns to the back of passenger's heads to prevent them from witnessing what was going on. Similarly a Brazilian man named Charles de Menezes was shot 8 times in the head by plain clothed police officers on a subway in London. He again had no bomb and was just on his way to work like any other Britain despite the initial lies of the police and government about jumping over barriers and big bulky jackets. Other then the public's perception that terror attacks are imminent and that the government is our savior, why would the government want this to happen now? Now they get to put trigger happy air marshals on the subways. Feel safer now? This is by no means the only approach to convincing the public that there is a "real" terrorist threat. Fake terrorist tapes, state terror like the London bombings and 9-11, fake terror alerts, filling up Guantanamo with innocent Arabs to be tortured into confessions and many many others.
