The Quote of the Week is dedicated to the stupid, hypocritical or arrogant things that the powerful and famous can't resist saying.

"Accountability is going to be very important for the international community."

This quote was dealing with a UN report blaming Syria for the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and the need for the international community to act on this injustice. It is amazing how the atrocities that the Americans are committing right next to Syria don't need the same type of accountability. I guess the convenient death of a pro-US politician is more important then well over 100,000 Iraqi civilians and 2,000 American soldiers.
