2007 04 11 - New Victim's Family Supports Search For 9/11 Truth
A new 9/11 victim's family have gone public on their doubts about the official story and have firmly placed their support behind the efforts of the 9/11 Truth Movement to search for the truth of what really happened on September 11, belying a common slur on behalf of the establishment press that questioning the government's version of the attacks is somehow insulting to the victims.
The family concerned are John and Bev Titus, parents of Alicia Titus, who was a flight attendant on United Flight 175, the plane that crashed into the WTC south tower on September 11, 2001. John and Bev have since devoted their time to activism and have set up a fund for their daughter called The Alicia Titus Memorial, the proceeds from which go to supporting the peace movement.
They were in attendance at a presentation given by 9/11 hero and truth crusader William Rodriquez at Michigan State University and Rodriquez had a chance to speak with them after the event.
Asked if they supported Rodriguez's efforts to bring out the truth behind 9/11, John and Bev replied, "absolutely," "It will be our lifelong quest to find the truth about September 11 and the real story behind it because we know that what we've been given is only a glimpse of it and distortions of it and my daughter deserves better than that."

2007 03 15 - Suspected 9/11 mastermind confesses at hearing: U.S.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States confessed to the 2001 attacks and others when he appeared at his military hearing in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a transcript shows.
"I was responsible for the 9/11 Operation, from A to Z," the transcript quotes Mohammed as saying.
According to the transcript, Mohammed also confessed Saturday to a slew of other attacks, including the 1993 bombing in the World Trade Center basement that killed six people and injured about 1,000.
Mohammed also claimed to be involved in the plot led by would-be shoe-bomber Richard Reid, a British citizen who tried unsuccessfully in 2001 to blow up a transatlantic flight with explosives hidden in his shoes. Reid is now serving a life sentence in Colorado.
The Associated Press also reported that it had learned Mohammed admitted in a blacked-out section of the transcript that he was responsible for beheading U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl, who was captured in Pakistan in 2002. Mohammed has long been a suspect in the killing.
In addition, he tied himself to attacks like the 2002 bombing of two nightclubs in Bali, Indonesia, and failed attempts to assassinate Pope John Paul II and Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf.
Mohammed said he also thought about assassinating former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, and planned bombings of buildings like the Sears Tower in Chicago, the Empire State Building in New York and Big Ben in London, England. None of these plans materialized.

Haas details in his expose how in October 2000, approximately 11 months prior to September 11, 2001, a former Israeli Defense Force member and veteran of the Yom Kippur War overheard a conversation at the Gomel Chesed Cemetery, located in Newark, NJ., concerning the attacks and spoken in Hebrew between three men.
“The Americans will learn what it is to live with terrorists after the planes hit the twins in September.” Hass's contact said he heard one of the men say. After 11 months of desperately attempting to alert the authorities and being systematically ignored all along the line, the contact watched in horror as the attacks unfolded exactly as he had overheard.
Haas revealed on air that he had been asked by a reader to contact the source, who has asked to remain anonymous for fear of his own safety, as he had in depth information about prior knowledge of the attacks and no one would listen to him.

Over the past year there have been accusations from such evil rough states as Iran and Venezuela that 9/11 was a self inflicted wound to goad the American people into open ended war in the Middle East and domestic tyranny at home. So, should the 9/11 truth movement embrace these statements even if they are in-line with many well respected experts around the world?
Let’s start this off with a little “hypothetical”. Let’s assume that if you heard that the independent 9/11 commission were doing business with some of Bush’s buddies you would naturally be suspicious and would probably (and rightly) not believe a word they say.
So now imagine that you are a stereotypical American afraid that Al-Qaeda sleeper cells are scattered around the globe just waiting for the signal to attack. If you hear that Islamo-Fascist Terrorist Supporting Wipe Israel off the Map Nuclear Armageddon Mullah’s and Radical Socialist Castro (the evil communist not like China) Loving Anti-Democratic Military Dictators are associated with the 9/11 truth movement, would you believe a word they say?

The empty "victory" of the Democrats' sweep of Congress has injected an anesthetic of apathy into the body politic and slowed the momentum of the move to have those responsible for 9/11 and the ensuing mess in Iraq brought to justice. Many people have swallowed the fraud and the 9/11 truth movement is dying.
The mandate of the 9/11 truth movement is to educate the world on the fact that the official story is a fraud and then use closely scrutinized independent investigations to ascertain precisely the guilty parties so that they may be brought up on charges and such a horrific event, including its freedom crippling aftermath, may never be seen again.
Since leading Democrat power-brokers have already completely distanced themselves from investigating even the Iraq WMD scandal, how on earth can we expect them to look into 9/11 and it's ramifications? In that context in what way was Tuesday night a defeat of the Neo-Cons if all it has done is allowed them to escape the consequences of the last six years?
Far from being a victory for the 9/11 and alternative truth community, the mid-term elections seem to have pacified large sections of activists into believing the job has been done when in reality it's only just beginning. This is prompting a kind of desertion and a dilution in focus, which will only spell the end for the 9/11 truth movement as it withers on the vine through the lack of united anger and discontent.

Brigham Young University placed physics professor Steven Jones on paid leave Thursday while it reviews his involvement in the so-called "9/11 truth movement" that accuses unnamed government agencies of orchestrating the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center.
BYU will conduct an official review of Jones' actions before determining a course of action, university spokeswoman Carri Jenkins said. Such a review is rare for a professor with "continuing status" at BYU, where Jones has taught since 1985.
Jones became a celebrity among 9/11 conspiracy-theory groups after he wrote a paper titled "Why Indeed Did the World Trade Center Buildings Collapse?" The paper was published two weeks ago in the book "9/11 and American Empire: Intellectuals Speak Out" and lays out Jones' hypothesis that the three towers fell because of pre-positioned demolition charges — not because of the planes that hit two of the towers.

2006 09 08 - White House Targets Conspiracy Theorists As Terrorist Recruiters
A document cited by President Bush in his recent speech at the Capital Hilton Hotel on how to 'win the war on terror' cites conspiracies as one of the wellsprings of terrorism and threatens to "address" and "diminish" the problems they are causing the government in fulfilling their agenda.
On Tuesday Bush referred to the strategy paper as "an unclassified version of the strategy we've been pursuing since September the 11th, 2001," that takes into account, "the changing nature of this enemy."
The document says that terrorism springs from "subcultures of conspiracy and misinformation," and that "terrorists recruit more effectively from populations whose information about the world is contaminated by falsehoods and corrupted by conspiracy theories. The distortions keep alive grievances and filter out facts that would challenge popular prejudices and self-serving propaganda."
The terminology echoes President Bush's speech (video below) to the UN General Assembly on November 10th 2001 in which he stated, "Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th, malicious lies that attempt to shift the blame away from the terrorists themselves, away from the guilty."

I was troubled about the presence of the dark car as I went to the store. Concerned about my family, I called 911 from the store to report the suspicious car with armed men loitering in my neighborhood. I was told that a police officer would meet me at my house in 20 minutes.
A few minutes, I was surprised to see the suspicious car stopped in front of my house, and three armed men in body armor standing on my driveway.
With my wife and 8-year old daughter beside me, I asked who these men were and why they were prowling around my house. “Why are you driving around with this gear in an unmarked car menacing my house,” I asked? “Who are you?”
The non-uniformed agents were unwilling to identify themselves and became confrontational.
I went to call my brother from the house when the three men tackled me from behind and shocked me with a Taser gun while they sat on top of me. After forcefully subduing me, one officer kneeled on my head while the others handcuffed me.

A refugee claimant who was handed over to American officials at the border as a terror suspect the day after 9/11 says he is still trying to figure out how he was launched into a five-year nightmare in U.S. jails.
Benamar Benatta, newly freed after 58 months in custody, is a former Algerian Air Force lieutenant. He is believed to be the last of about 1,200 Muslim men swept up in post-9/11 investigations to be released.
He was finally allowed to leave a U.S. immigration lockup late last week after his lawyers brokered a deal with Canadian immigration authorities to let him pursue the refugee claim he originally began at the Peace Bridge days before the 9/11 attacks.
In his first interview with a Canadian newspaper since his release, Benatta, 32, told the Star yesterday that the legal details of his Sept. 12, 2001, transfer to the U.S. are still murky. At the time, there was no law in place allowing Canadian officials to return refugee claimants suspected of terrorism to the U.S., as there now is under post-9/11 provisions of the Immigration Act.

Daniel Ellsberg is a former American military analyst employed by the RAND Corporation who precipitated a national firestorm in 1971 when he released the Pentagon Papers, the US military's account of activities during the Vietnam War, to The New York Times. The release awakened the American people to a systematic program of organized deception carried out by the Pentagon against the population to continue the Vietnam War.
Daniel Ellsberg, speaking on air to GCN radio host Jack Blood, stated his concerns that criminal elements of the US government were psychologically capable to have carried out 9/11. He warned that within days after a US military strike on
that Bush's handlers would probably stage some type of terror attack in the West to legitimize the new war.
Ellsberg went on to state that another major Reichstag-like state-sponsored attack would be followed by a martial law scenario which might include detention camps for American dissenters.
2006 06 29 - American Scholars Symposium A Huge Success

BYU physics professor Steven Jones' authoritative lecture on the use of incendiary devices in the demolition of the trade towers and building 7 went further than ever before in its conclusive tone on the issue. Jones has now tested steel samples from two different sites that both clearly show the use of thermate as a tool of implosion and the analysis has been verified by two other universities.

The fact that they have again chosen to release grainy and foggy images which only lead to more speculation tell us two things.
1) The government truly is frightened to death of releasing any images which accurately depict what happened at the Pentagon because it doesn't jive with the official version of 9/11.
2) Or the government knows that Flight 77 hit the Pentagon and has clear footage of the incident, but is deliberately releasing these speculative images in order to stoke the debate so it can later release the high quality video and use it to debunk the entire 9/11 truth movement.

The FBI whistleblower last Thursday filed a court motion demanding that the federal judge hearing her First Amendment case be recused for deliberately hiding his financial background.
The judge, Reggie Walton, is also currently hearing the perjury case involving I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, former chief of staff to Dick Cheney, on allegations that Libby leaked the name of a CIA operative to the media. Edmonds is seeking to show Judge Walton is in violation of federal law (The Ethics in Government Act) because of his refusal to meet financial disclosure provisions.

One of the most obvious lies in the show trial of Zacarias Moussaoui came when a court-appointed physician, Dr. Raymond Patterson, declared Moussaoui was not suffering from mental illness. Patterson made the assertion after Moussaoui said he wanted to fire his lawyers and represent himself. Moussaoui’s lawyers “became convinced that their client’s mental condition, already precarious, was deteriorating under the stress of solitary confinement, and that he was becoming increasingly paranoid,” writes Seymour Hersh for the New Yorker. In response to Patterson’s assertion that Moussaoui was sane enough to present his own defense, two “mental-health experts retained by the defense, Dr. Xavier Amador, of Columbia University, and Dr. William Stejskal, of the University of Virginia, argued that Patterson’s conclusions were unfounded and that Moussaoui needed further evaluation.” Judge Brinkema did not agree and ruled from the bench on June 13th, 2002, without hearing testimony, “that the
defendant met the legal standard of competency.”
